EMPO Members and Meet Attendees- [Attention: Lost and Found at the Camp -- a fleece hat and winter gloves. Please contact Janet Tryson to describe/claim (usofweb @ gmail.com).] Naturally,
the first time I did not use my laptop as backup is the first time I can’t make our new results recorder/printer work as
desired. I do have
“results” for everyone, but I do not have “splits” to post. I have tried a host of
different approaches to getting the splits out, but nothing seems to
work. If I get them later, I’ll send them. And, if I get really
ambitious (and find I have a lot of time to kill), I could likely
recreate them by downloading the data from each SI box; but don’t count
on that happening. [EDIT: Splits have been added, below] Meanwhile, following are the results (total time only) by course, with indications of classes and EMPO Class Champions (bolded) [ 20 entries, 1 day]:
I have had to try and interpret some things from the data, so If you have corrections or concerns, please send them along. And, I will try some more to get the splits; but if I can’t, please consider it another learning experience. Thanks to Frank for all his work in putting on this event, all who attended, and all who helped out picking up (Hawkes-Teeters, Trysons, David Hunter, Fred Pilon). That’s it for EMPO for the autumn season, except for the Scout-O at Tawasentha on Sunday, November 9 (you must pre-register for that event; see the schedule page). Otherwise, we start up our Winter season at Lapland Lake (if there is snow) on Sunday, December 21st. Keep an eye on the web site, as the details of that event are announced, and other events are offered. -Phil H-T
