The Trysons and the Hawkes-Teeters traveled to the US and North American Championships this summer. The Trysons' vacation included the two events (US Champs in Moses Lake and Spokane, Washington state; North Americans in Cranbrook, British Columbia), and the Hawkes-Teeter family's adventures covered the North Americans and included Barebones events in Kamloops and Vancouver, British Columbia.  The Trysons raced against some awesome age-group competitors to bring home 6 medals for EMPO --

Janet Tryson (F55+) earned 1st place on the US Champs Middle course, and 3rd on the Long course

Glen Tryson (M55+) earned 2nd in the US Champs Middle competition and 1st on the Long!  In addition, Glen took home 2nd and 3rd place medals at the Middle and Long North American Championships, respectively.

All results can be reached from Orienteering USA's results page.
